Lela/Yeyatalunyuhe is the sole owner of sacred mugs, registered to the Oneida Nation of the Thames.
Lela proudly carries Ojibwe and Mohawk roots, enriching her identity as an artist and mother. As a registered member of the Oneida Nation of the Thames, she embraces her heritage in every aspect of her life. Balancing the responsibilities of raising seven children and two chosen daughters, Lela channels her experiences and cultural background into her full-time art practice. Through her creations, she honors her ancestry and shares story with the world.

Sacred Mugs & Custom Creations is an Indigenous and woman-owned creative business that designs custom mugs, earrings, engraved items, and wearable art inspired by Haudenosaunee and Ojibwe floral styles. Each piece blends cultural pride with modern creativity, offering products that people can use every day while celebrating Indigenous identity. Lela has a long-term vision to expand into a permanent creative space that will serve as a storefront, workshop, and community hub. This space will allow for increased production, hands-on workshops, and opportunities for youth and community members to learn creative skills while exploring entrepreneurship.

Sacred Mugs & Custom Creations offers hands-on creative workshops and custom products that blend art, culture, and entrepreneurship. Through guided experiences, participants design and create items such as NFC keychains, customized mugs, and wearable accessories while learning about creativity, self-expression, and digital tools. Workshops can include beaded earrings with acrylic pieces, painting with acrylic paints and markers, laser-engraved elements, and resin finishing, giving each participant a unique piece they can keep or use to promote themselves online.

NFC KEY CHAINS
NFC keychains are small, customizable keychains that contain a tiny microchip called Near Field Communication (NFC). When someone taps the keychain with a smartphone, it can instantly open a link such as a social media profile, website, digital portfolio, or contact information. In workshops, participants design and decorate their own keychains and learn how to program the chip, turning a creative craft into a practical tool for sharing their work, promoting themselves, and exploring entrepreneurship.
